The Nuremberg Trials
Were a set of trials for 22 different Nazi leaders. The Nuremberg Trials took place a while after the Holocaust. On October 1st 1946 the International Military Tribunal gave their verdict for the 22 Nazi leaders. 11 were given the death penalty, three acquitted, three given life imprisonment, and four 10 to 20 years in prison. these Nazi's had taken away the rights of many people, treating them like animals. With these trials they were finally held responsible for their actions. |
